Towada Horse Park

 

Today we took the kids to the Horse Park. It's a huge horse themed park.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The kids had a lot of fun playing on the giant horse slide.

 

 

 

There were a few horse that could be ridden for a small fee.

 

 

 

 

The best part of the park is this long "roller" slide. It was the kids favorite part of the day.

Dan even took a turn with Danny, and had a lot of fun!

 

 

 

After playing out in the cold for a while, we decided to go inside and get some lunch.

I love all the Japanese vending machines. This is how you order your food at the lunch counter.

A lot of times, it's just random guessing and we eat what we get. But we've come to recognize some Kanji symbols and can order a few things that we like.

 

 

The vending machine gives you a ticket for each item you purchase.

 

 

You then take your tickets to the ladies at the counter, who make your food.

 

 

The family enjoying lunch of Curry Rice, Yakisoba & French Fries.

 

 

When you're finished, you bring your tray and dishes to this window for them to be washed.

 

 

 

 

Lunch would not be complete without some ice cream to finish off the day.
