Black Friday

Our Black Friday Tradition is to stay home and make cookies, put up the Christmas Tree, decorate it, eat cookies, drink hot chocolate, and listen to Christmas music. It's my favorite way to spend the day after Thanksgiving. I'm not a fan of going out shopping and dealing with all the crazies and the crowds.

Thanksgiving

The kids and I spent a quiet Thanksgiving at home by ourselves.

We even got to Skype with Dan for a little bit.

Christmas Ornaments

Each year, the kids get to pick out a new Christmas Ornament. When the kids saw all the Christmas stuff at the store, they really, REALLY wanted to pick them out now instead of waiting till after Thanksgiving. LOL!

Sydney picked out an Elsa ornament from the movie Frozen.

Danny STILL loves Batman, so that's the one he picked.

Black Hawk Ride

Dan sent us this AWESOME picture of him taking a ride in a Black Hawk.

We sure do miss seeing his face around here.

Uno

I caught the kids cheating at Uno last night.

My Papa would be proud that his game cheating lives on in his great grandchildren.
