Tide Pooling:
The kids had a lot of fun looking for life in the tiny pools of water.

So ... there are boy lobsters, and girl lobsters. LOL!!
The dogs REALLY wanted to eat them too!
Sirius was VERY interested in the Seagulls. I think if Dan wasn't telling him "Leave it!", he would have jumped right in and gone after them.
This was by far the BEST thing we did in Maine. It was SO much fun to go out on the boat and catch our own lobster. But it was made even better, that they allowed us to bring the dogs too!
There is a restaurant right on the pier that you can take your lobster to, and they will cook them for you. Which is nice, since we're traveling and don't have a kitchen to go back to and cook them ourselves.

Dinner time!! It was SOOOOO good too!!
And then we went for Ice Cream.
Ben & Jerry's Factory:
We got to go on a tour of the Ben & Jerry's Factory.
It was neat seeing how they make the ice cream.
The kids favorite part, was the free sample at the end of the tour.
Behind the factory is the "Flavor Graveyard" where you can see all the flavors that didn't quiet make the cut.
Vermont Teddy Bear Factory:
Sydney's favorite stop along our trip was to the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory.
We got to tour the factory floor. And learned some cool facts about their bears.
They even have a Build-Your-Own-Bear store.
We let the kids pick out a small (cheaper) bear to build and dress up.
The kids had a WONDERFUL time on our family vacation.
