Palmyra & the Sacred Grove

 

On our way back from Niagara Falls we stopped in Palmyra to see some of the Church historical sites.

 

Sydney wanted to ride in the rugged wheel chair.

 

The Joseph Smith House.

 

Tiny little bedrooms.

 

The Palmyra Temple.

 

It was very quiet and peacefully walking into the woods.

I'm glad we were able to go see the Sacred Grove.

Niagara Falls

 

We decided to go to Niagara Falls for the weekend. Since we live SO close to the Canadian boarder, we thought we'd just drive up through Canada to see the Canadian countryside.

 

The dogs don't care where we're going, just as long as they can come along too.

We enjoyed everything EXCEPT for the "Big Turk" - it was nasty!!

It was like a giant gummy bear bar covered in Chocolate.

It was just gross!

 

 

 

Niagara Falls is defiantly prettier on the Canada side.

 

 

At night, they light up the falls. It's VERY pretty.

Native Zoo

 

There's a zoo here. It's not very big and it's called a "Native Zoo."

Basically it's only animals that can survive the very cold winters we have here.

Across the street from the zoo is a huge park. The kids really enjoyed spending the rest of the afternoon playing at the park.

 

Papa & Jacob Visit

 

Papa and Jacob drove across country to bring us the dogs.

They stayed for a while to hang out and visit.

 

 

We drove up to Canada.

 

We went to the top of the Thousand Islands Tower.

 

It's a beautiful view from up there. Even on a cloudy day!

 

The kids had SO much fun hanging out with Jacob.

They played video games ALL night!

The dogs sure do LOVE Papa! They are going to miss him when he leaves.

 

Papa even helped Danny to build a Nerf Wall for all his Nerf guns.
