Halloween

The went to school yesterday as Batman and Batgirl.

For Trick-or-Treating they went as Lalaloopsy and Chewbacca.

My favorite Halloween Tradition is the selling back of the candy. I like that the kids prefer the money to all that candy.

Dan's Deployment

Today was a sad day for us. Dan left for his deployment.

Sydney was especially sad to see her Daddy go. She REALLY didn't want to say goodbye.

Hopefully it goes by quickly!

Weekend in the Adirondacks

 

We went up to the Adirondack mountains this weekend to see the leaves changing colors.

It was absolutely gorgeous!!

 

 

 

We found a cute little orchard that had tons of activities for us to do.

Koto's Japanese Grill.

The kids LOVED sitting at the Hibachi.

 

Our hotel had an amazing little water park.

 

Glow Golf.

 

And an arcade. Dan was really good at this game: Harpoon Lagoon.

He won over 200 tickets on this game. The kids loved it cause they got all his tickets. LOL!

 

Sydney's Yukata

 

Yukata: a summertime Kimono made out of cotton.

Our wonderful friend Yukari has been searching all summer for a Hello Kitty Yukata for Sydney.

We were overjoyed when we got a surprise box from Japan with the Yukata inside.

Elsa & Anna Dress Up

 

I finally found some nicely made, not cheap material dresses for Sydney.

She LOVES Elsa and Anna from Frozen.

Sydney wore the Anna dress to church and got A LOT of complements on her pretty dress.

Finger Lakes National Park

 

We went down to the Finger Lakes National Park this weekend.

It's a gorgeous park with hiking trails and waterfalls.

 

The dogs caused a "traffic jam" on the bridge.

Everyone wanted to stop and pet the dogs.

They LOVED it!!

It's a beautiful area! Lots of vineyards around here.
