Gyeongbokgung Palace

We got to see the Changing of the Guards at the Gyeongbokgung Palace.
Also known as the Royal Palace.

The wear these funny looking shoes.

I love all the colors on their shrines and temples.

Sydney was like a celebrity in Korea.
She kept getting asked to have her picture taken with local Korean teens.
They just LOVED the adorable little girl with Blonde hair! LOL

My adorable little family!

Danny is standing next to the statue for his Korean Zodiac: the Dog

Sydney standing next to the Dragon. Cause it's cool!

Dan & Sydney share the same Korean Zodiac: the Tiger

I was trying SO hard to get a great picture of the family with the temple in the background, that I wasn't paying any attention to funny faces Sydney was making.
LOL

Namedaemun

Namedaemun is a midnight market.
They don't open till almost 11 o'clock at night and stays open all night long.
They sell all kinds of stuff at super cheap prices.

We found some really nice blankets for less than $20.

Red Ginseng Shop.

Leather goods.

This is the shrine outside the Namedaemun market.
It was SO pretty all lit up at night.

Itaewon

Itaewon is a large street with LOTS of stores for shopping.
I remember coming here when I was little.
It was an awesome walk down memory lane.

The kids & I getting ready to cross the street.
When I was little I remember this intersection being SO HUGE!!
Being here now and seeing how NOT huge the street was, was kind of funny.

I found some glass floats!!

Kimchi Fries - VERY yummy!!

Danny got a burrito with Kimchi in it.
He liked it! It was just too big to finish.

Shopping on Itaewon brought back lots of memories!
I swear it hasn't changed at all. Ok, it a little less smelly than I remember it.
LOL

Lots of little trinket shops.

We bought Sydney a traditional Korean Hanbok.
Isn't she adorable?!

Sydney got tired of all the Koreans stroking her Blonde hair, so Dan put her on his shoulders to get her out of reach.
I remember my sister Leanne riding on my dad's shoulders for this exact same reason.
LOL

We found a small shop that sold Football Jersey's and would personalize them with your name on it.

So, we of course bought ourselves Dallas Cowboys jersey's with our family name on it.
I LOVE THIS!!!

We decided to take a vacation and go over to Korea.

Sydney being adorable on the flight.

Danny is always on the look out for cool cars.
He spotted this one after we left the airport.

My cuties!
